Grits had a funny taste. Waffle too softshoulf be crispier. They did not have any gravy for the biscuits and gravy. Celly our waitress
was * delightful * sweet and very helpful. Average food.
New coffee is bitter. Prefer the latter coffee. Was told this new coffee was cheaper. Freezing cold in summer with customers leaving or going for coats. Cleanliness in lacking on windows floors parking lot. Been a regular here for years. Sorry to see it go down.
The staff @ pottery Rd waffle House needs to come take lessons from the staff at this , after sitting @ the waffle House on pottery Rd for more than 30 ended up walking out . Came to this waffle House which was busier than pottery Rd waffle House was waited on within minutes and had wonderful service ,
They have awesome food and offer a factory discount. Customer service can be hit or miss and if you are ordering anything with chicken it does take quite a while to be made. Not a bad choice if you are really craving diner food.
My wife, two friends of ours and I called in an order at 9:23, they left around 9:35 to go pick up the food and when they got there, the food was almost finished but they told them to sit down and wait for a few last minute items. They waited another 30 minutes or so on gravy, toast and syrup. While they were waiting they saw one of the waitresses pick something up off the floor and then touch someone's food without washing her hands. This may not bother anyone else but this was enough to make us question all waffle houses.
